Helping communities across BC use AI responsibly

The Community AI Impact Association (CAIA) is a nonprofit helping communities, nonprofits, and small-to-medium businesses across British Columbia adopt artificial intelligence in practical, ethical, and people-first ways.

Through education, pilot programs, and partnerships with Canadian AI providers, we help organizations understand AI, test it in real-world settings, and implement tools that strengthen their work without losing control, privacy, or trust.

Empowering communities through responsible AI

The Community AI Impact Association (CAIA) brings together community organizations, small businesses, practitioners, and Canadian technology providers to help organizations understand and apply artificial intelligence in practical ways.

Through workshops, pilot programs, and collaborative initiatives, we help organizations build AI literacy, test real solutions, and develop the confidence to adopt new technologies responsibly. Our goal is to ensure communities across British Columbia can benefit from AI while protecting privacy, strengthening local capacity, and keeping control of the tools they use.

CAIA is building a network of organizations, practitioners, and community leaders who believe artificial intelligence should benefit everyone.

Through collaboration, education, and real-world pilot programs, we help communities explore how AI can strengthen their work while protecting privacy, ethics, and local ownership.

We are currently developing our membership program, which will provide organizations with access to resources, training opportunities, and community initiatives focused on responsible AI adoption.

Membership opportunities are launching soon.
